A Very Nutty Scavenger Hunt

Come one, come all, for a scavenger hunt of cyber proportions! Have some fun with the squirrels behind NEPA BlogCon, aka the Fearsome Foursome, as they gather their strength and their nuts for the harsh winter ahead. Squirrels have to hide their nuts in the winter so they have enough food to make it through… see if you can find where we hide our digital acorns around the forest of the Interwebz!

What is this “Scavenger Hunt” you speak of?

We’ll be hiding 4 “nuts” (images of nuts as seen above in the image) on specific websites pertaining to NEPA BlogCon. These could be sponsors’ websites, speakers’ websites, or even our own Fearsome Foursome blogs or personal websites. Then we’ll be dropping clues on our social media sites at specific times clueing you in as to the location of the nuts.

When will I find the hints?

We’ll be dropping the hints on our social media sites (@nepablogcon and Facebook.com/NEPABlogCon) once a day starting Tuesday Aug. 14 and ending Friday Aug. 17 for a total of 4 clues and 4 locations. The Tweets and Facebook statuses will be posted sometime between 11am and 2pm.

What can I expect from the hints?

They will be crafted as tricky riddles that give hints about which website you should check for the image. There will be clues even in the CaPiTalIzaTion… you’ve been warned!

How do I submit my answers to try to win?

Wait until all the clues have been dropped. Keep track of your answer each day and you can submit your answers starting at 2PM Friday. Your email to us should contain 4 URLS of the 4 nut locations. Starting Tuesday, simply begin recording all 4 locations (in web URL format, like www.website.com) and hold onto them until Friday.

Where do I submit my answers to try to win?

E-mail the 4 URLs to us (info@nepablogcon.com) on Friday starting at 2PM or as soon as you have all 4 correct answers!

What will I win for doing this nutty scavenger hunt?

Whoever correctly names the location of the 4 nuts will be the winner of 2 free tickets to NEPA BlogCon, a $90 value! What a treat!
