Volunteer with NEPA BlogCon & Squirrel Girls Tech Camp

The team at NEPA BlogCon is preparing to launch its 6th annual blogging and social media conference, and summer Squirrel Girls Tech Camp, for girls 4-6 grade.

We Can’t Do It Without Volunteers

Since 2012, each year we’ve brought together legions of bloggers, young professionals, writers, marketers, and small business owners to our region. It take a lot of behind the scenes planning and hard work hard to make this conference the best the region has to offer each fall, and provide fun STEM educational opportunities for children each summer. We rely on an all volunteer team of individuals dedicated to developing a unique experience each conference, with skills and passion to continue helping our programs to grow and flourish.

Would You Like To Join Us?

In the past years we have provided volunteer job descriptions and asked members of our community to apply to the opportunities they felt would be the best fit. This time around, we’re asking community minded volunteer applicants to tell us about themselves through answering a questionnaire, so we can get a feel for compatible plans and projects that would best utilize an individual’s talents. Most assignments are flex time, can be done remotely, and most meetings are optional. All volunteers are asked to support the event the day of the conference, and/or at camp.

This year’s conference will be held October 14, at Penn State Worthington Scranton. Squirrel Girls Tech Camp in Luzerne County will be held July 31 – August 4, at The THINK Center, Wilkes-Barre. This year there will also be Squirrel Girls Tech Camp in Lackawanna County, dates and venue are to be confirmed.
